My take on these new bullets is that they should help with long range shooting......meaning 1,000yds. The review I read said that 69's should "fly" like 77's and the 77's will work like the 80's. If that holds true, that will be good news for long range shooters shooting mag fed rifles.
In 30 caliber, the 168's will go like the 175's so you'll be able to shoot 168's at 1,000. The 175's will act like a heavier bullet as well.
So I guess it could be said that the farther out you go, the more you may benefit from these new tipped bullets.
