The ring binder can be awkward, but it stays open by itself, hands free. Consider that 99% of the pages are seldom referenced by most shooters. You can take out the sections for cartridges you actually load, put them in a thin ring binder or looseleaf folder for convenience, and store the rest of the manual out of the way for occasional reference.
