Sierra Game Changer bullets

View attachment 1059677

Either practice your shooting or your tracking
That 130 vld couldn't have been bettered by anything in your case. Dead is dead. Especially when they drop on the spot. You could have used a 240 vld and not got the job done any better. While IMO there's no such thing as overkill on game, there is optimal setups and it appears you have it with your setup. Putting the bullet where it counts Trump's all else.

The 90 gr 6mm has the same BC as the 95gr SMK.

I guess the length should also be similar? These are slightly cheaper than 95gr Nosler BT that work very well.

I am gonna let y'all in on a secret. It is the shooter not the bullet. But the bullet companies need to make money too.

why do I (the same shooter) make better shots with certain bullets under the same conditions then?

If I shot a 178 pound rockchuck with the same bullet that did the job on the pig carcass would the results be similar?

I'm a huge fan of Sierra bullets (Nosler also). Most of their bullets I've tried are already "game changers". One in particular, the 6mm 85 grain BTHP is perhaps the best all around bullet ever developed for the 243 Win.
And I am selling them for $115 per 500 shipped.

Picked some 130's up and it seems they are a bit longer than the 130 TMK. The batch I have also seem to have tiny asymmetrical air bubbles in the clear green poly tip. Whether or not the bubble will significantly affect accuracy has yet to be determined

Trump Bullets....Hmmm.... I like the sound of that.
Some jewish family in florida owns the rights already. More then likely anyway. I'm glad to see that they have 140gr for 270 but I'm not sure I can get pulled away from 140VLDs and classic hunters. If I do try them out they're in the running with about 4 other bullets in the 140-150gr range I want to load develop for. At 37 cents per bullet though and similar bc as the vld I wouldn't be surprised if they're getting accuracy tested by next summer.

I ended up with a box of .264, 130s that have been recalled because there were some 270 bullets mixed in. Just one lot # was mentioned. My other boxes were different lot.IMG_20180824_163644.jpg
