Sierra 6mm 116 gr Bullets

You are correct sir, with my velocity I could not spin any faster
I am right at the edge of whats possible
Go faster - Blow up bullets
Spin Faster - Blow up Bullets
3400 fps with Dtacs is right about where the limit is, when I pushed faster toward 3500 they did survive but I started getting erratic groups then or a 1/5 erratic flyer. likely compromising the jackets but I still didnt see blow-ups yet
200 fps aint nothing to cry about when you're already above 3000 fps right?
---
I can only use a couple Mfgr's bullets
---
I think I have found 270,000 rpm is a happy place for most 6mm bullets
---
I can't pull the recent article I read about some F Class guys actually build their rifles to approx
an SG stability factor of about 1.4, (I believe that was in a 7mm/284 build though) which still provides superb accuracy for 1000 yds
(my last computer went down and so much info I had saved is lost ....urgh)
I have also found this SG to work very well with my gun
Many seem to place too much emphasis on trying to achieve as much SG as possible
I am not against over spinning a bullet but
when we're right on the ragged edge of diminished returns for doing so
pulling back and accepting less SG, is like a cheat code still providing desired accuracy
---
I keep "wanting" to see if I can eek out an extra inch accuracy at 600 yds by going higher in SG but...
Physcis wont allow it, and there's no Solids I see available that are heavy
so in a way I'm maxxed out
In weight class, speed, and spin

270k. Well said.
