Cant even get the load data from Sierra. They say ok to use the 69 gr HPBT data. Does anyone know where to go with this?
Thanks
Thanks
Thanks!I don't have experience with the tipped gameking, but the 65gr regular gameking worked just fine with the load I was using for the 69gr match. I did back off and work back up, but I ended up with the same load of Varget when I was satisfied with the accuracy.
I know just seems odd Sierra would put out a bullet with little data. Have the same problem with their 140 game changer got my 6.5 creedmore !Sierrra reloading manual 5th edition shows loads for the 63 grain SMP but nothing for the 64 grain TGK you mention.
Thanks but they gave the “ use the 69 grain data” !Call these guys. These guys should be able to help if anybody can.

Think that’s what I have to do.I think you could use the 69 grain SMK data maybe increasing the stated values by .5 grains of powder to start. No matter what, you'll still need to work up a load to get to what shoots best in your rifle. I agree that Sierra should have load data for every bullet they produce!
That sounds right. I guess these haven’t been out very long. Load Data had nothing alsoI think you could use the 69 grain SMK data maybe increasing the stated values by .5 grains of powder to start. Yeah, they have only come out in different calibers in the last year or so. As I said before, I use the 65gr GK and it works great. I don't get very long shots it the woods, so it still has enough energy for a deer, and they work good on the occasional coyote too! I"d guess the TMK is designed for the same performance. I never really considered my 223 for deer until Sierra started making these.I guess these haven’t been out very long
The game changer in 130 gr for my creedmore is really accurate in the 300 to 600 range and wanted to see if the same was true for the 223. Seems like they be really devastating on coyotesYeah, they have only come out in different calibers in the last year or so. As I said before, I use the 65gr GK and it works great. As for every bullet having load data for it, If you look in the Sierra manual, there are many bullet types grouped with one set of load data. Usually they are all the same weight, but when you are talking about 5gr or less with similar construction and bearing surface, they will probably throw them all together in the next book update.
