You won’t know which is better until you test it in your rifle.

I just tested them at the AZ state LR championship and shot an 1170-37X over 120 rounds. My average per relay was 195 out of 200.

Why? It sounds like everyone in this thread likes them. Also, Bob Mead kicked everyone's tails with them at the LR nationals this year...

Was Bob shooting straight .284 or improved , 7 SAUM ??

guess i might try some. I have a 9 twist in straight 284

I’ve shot the 183mk & 180vld target with similar results, shooting a 30” Krieger with a 8 twist, straight 284, H4831sc 54.4gr, right at 2800fps, both shot better than the 180 hybrid in my gun. This is a 4 shot group at 300yrds with the 183mk!

I was running them out of a 9 twist in Ohio at 1,200 ASL and they shot better than the 180 Hybrids, but nothing stellar. Some days they shot well while other days, not so much. Went to Colorado at 5,500 ASL and they were scary accurate. Went back home and screwed on a 8.25 twist and the accuracy was there from the start. I would assume from this that they were on the edge of stability with the 9 twist given the conditions. Overall, I really like them.

Randy Dawson and I were shooting the 183 Sierras out of a straight 284W
in Tennessee at 2000 yards from a Stiller actioned 30" 9 twist barrel,what was of great interest to me was the Sierras shot 3 MOA flatter than the 180 Berger hybrid at that distance.The Sierras are all that and a bag of chips.
