Sierra 110gr Match kings, sweet spot for seating depth?

I'm building a 6XC with a 7 twist barrel to run the 110gr Sierra's that I have on hand. I have read that these can be real picky on seating depth. Has anybody found a "general" depth they like? I don't want to waist a bunch on depths that are not close for them.
The 107's in my 6 Creed have a "benchrest quality" at an amazing .050 to .070 jump.

not sure about a 6XC but my 6BR with 7 twist barrel likes the 110 SMK at around a .005" jump.

I my Borden it likes 0.020 jump. But let your gun tell you what it likes. Just my two cents Tommy Mc

I really try to avoid jamming anything so I think I'll start at lands and back off in .003 steps. I read these are like VLD's and super tricky. My plan was to run 115 Dtac's but those cant be had right now either.

I've shot about 4 thousand of them through an xc. 1st barrel exclusively @2600+ rounds they liked being up close. 2nd barrel I killed myself trying to get them to shoot. It just wouldn't shoot the 110s. Switched to the 105 hybrids and it was money! The 110s are great, as long as you can keep them tuned. I think that with today's tuners a person could make them run good though.

I have always started any smk at .020" off and go out from there...

I've been shooting them in a 6SLR for several years, and the shoot well in the .008-.012 off the lands range. Weather you sneak up on the best depth from a jam or from a big jump, you will find a spot that they like.
