sideways picture issue...

Am I the only one here who has passed on for sale items because I cannot figure out how to rotate them from sideways to upright? At 76 I get dizzy...

i used to have trouble figuring that out when i placed an add. now i see if i leave them full size it doesnt do that. must b some other way to fix it though. i do think i get better responses with a add oriented correct

I had that trouble importing from an Apple phone/ Ipad to a Windows or Android device. I believe Apple was working on a fix so their formatting would play nice with Windows. Must still be working on it.

If it bothered me that much, I would just save the picture to my phone and rotate it myself.

Hey Feller, yes same for me! I have a few years on you and I think part of the problem is operator error on my part and ignorance on how to operate the device. Everytime I get to where I can haffass operate my phone they "update" the phone and I'm back to square 1. Same thing with computers, with windows 7 XP, I could post pictures, resize, store, refind them when I needed them and anything else. Took me several years of trying and I got to where I considered myself a "4 gaited horse" start, fart, stumble, and fall with windows 10 and now they are forcing me to 11 and I'm done. I can for the present post with my phone. Computer is just to read the news...... John

I’ve passed on them, but because I figured that if the guy can’t get the ad right then I’m not sure that I want to deal with him.

Well, if I am interested enough in the item for sale I will send PM regardless of how the ad is written or pictures oriented. There is always the phone call and I always ask for "special" photos texted to me to help insure I'm not dealing with a scammer or a bot.
Autotext and Autocorrect manage to screw up even the most well written and thought out replies and I sometimes have pictures go sideways or even upside down.

When I post a photo and it comes out sideways, I go back to the original photo and rotate it in the edit feature and save it. Doesn’t matter the rotation as long as it’s not back to where it originally was. Open the photo again and rotate it how I want it posted and save. Then repost the new photo.

Doesn’t make sense, but works.

Perhaps upload to utube, then copy and paste the link and that should get it onto the forum.
The viewer then just clicks on the link and it will take them to your video.

you can go to excel post pic then rotate copy ect save then go grab it..the old way..if you don't save changes it doesn't matter what u do I think.been a while since I wrote reports with pics out of loop

Create a youtube.com account and then just post the link to video here and vawalla you're done! If you have an Android phone use it to take pictures, create the add on the computer then use your phone to "edit" the post and add pictures, soooooooooo much simpler.

I am frequently on another forum where submitted pictures always turn sideways. The fix is to slightly crop at least one side of the pic and it posts as it should. Might work here as well.
