Side lever falling block action

Any one have a custom side lever falling block bench rifle?.
I've always had a soft spot for the ruger #1 falling block action..but that forend really is the models bottle neck.
I've seen a few machinist-artist- custom gun makers who produce the old side lever falling block and they are incredible!.
To have a bench varmint rifle you don't need to pick up to reload would be a dream come true I'll bet way out of my price range..but maybe not..I dont know there are many companies pumping out incredible products on these new machines
So maybe it's in our future..
You folks know how it goes..something flashy puts that twinkle in your eye..and we're off and running..hahaha..
Any ways..if any one has a side lever falling block rifle and would like to show it off..I would love to see pictures..

You mean something like this??? A member here at the range is a retired tool and die maker.... Sooooo, he has made his own actions. He has made every piece, except the scope. The raw action is his current project.

the black powder shooters use a side lever action (can't remember the maker) but its very popular and many accurate rifles are built using this style of receiver,,,Roger

Check with the Schuetzen guys, I think there is a "Miller" action. I have CRS, but I think about $2K and an unbelievable trigger, lock time and machining. Shot everything screwed into it well!

That looks like a Remington Hepburn action. C Sharps Arms makes them. But will be dropping them from production soon.
Both are hand made by the fellow that is a club member, Both are a modification in the Hepburn design yes.

Of course you need to run a Rimmed style case in order for this design to work, Lots of Wild Cats based off the 30/30 case in this type of action. This one in the picture is 6.5 mm on the 7x57 Norma case. So its about the equivalent of the 6.5 Creed/ 260 Rem.
The other raw action not pictured is a duel firing pin 22 LR that he is working on for his wife.
Cool part is he is teaching a 14 year old young lady how to do all of this. Neighbor kid who has gotten into shooting. super cool

Go on the ASSRA forum, and post that you want a Hepburn. Somebody there will have one.

Rtheurer,
I wanted something similar to your 6.5. Simple answer, I have a custom Borchardt chambered in 6.5x57 Rimmed. I bought 400 new cases with the rifle. I get 260 Remington velocity and under .5" 5-shot groups at 100. It is a Coyote killer.
