dixieppc,

where in the hell did you that clock? That's sweet!
You're gonna laugh at this one. I have a friend that has a store and one of the services that they offer in the store is Western Union Money Orders. When they signed up to offer the service, Western Union gave them the clock you see. When they were doing some remodeling they got a new clock and I asked if I could have the old one. I wanted a clock for the wall in my loading room and I like the neon light better than the night light I have stuck in the wall plug. One day when visiting my Smith I noticed he had a stack of Berger decals and I picked a few up for my gun cases. When I got back home, I laid them down on the tool chest under the clock and noticed that the Berger yellow was the same yellow as the neon yellow on the Western Union clock. I then measured to see if the Berger decal was larger than the Western Union logo on the face of the clock and it was. So I put a Berger decal over top of the Western Union logo and WaLa, a Berger clock with matching yellow colors was born.

I'm sure Western Union would love this story.

Regards.....

The Berger clock and how you set it up is really neat. It's rewarding when you're able to re-purpose an item and make it even better for your own needs...nicely done!

Hal,
The Hide is a gift from the son of a Wounded Warrior that is in our Wounded Warrior Project Reloading Class put on by Rolling Thunder members and VFW members of our gun club.

Yetiman,
Thank you for the compliment on my loading room. I spend a lot of time in there NOT loading but relaxing and reading. I just like the smell of the room. Something about the odor of Kroil soothes the savage beast in me.

theKriebles,
I'm glad you like the clock. Not having a lot of money in my retirement years has led me to refine the fine art of re-purposing things.

Tokimini,
Love the Shrek poster.

I have done some rearrainging of my gun/loading room so deleted my old post in this thread and adding this new post. I got a good deal at Harbor Freight on a woodworking bench that had busted out of its shipping box so got it and added that to the room (last image). Added a few new reloading tools and what not. Anyway, I have it nice and sealed up so it will be cozy for the winter. I plan on spending a lot of quality time up here with my dog this cold and windy winter.

Regards,
Thomas

Some great setups in here. Hoser - wow I am drooling! Here's a shot of mine. Don't have much room to play with, but I can see that like some of you in here, I can let my OCD run rampant in the reloading room :)

A+ for storage solutions and efficiency.

Kind of feeling 'inadequate' after seeing some of you gents setups. My main room for reloading, tinkering, lathes is 12x14 with the 4' storage room making addition 16'x14'. Wished I could have gone at least 16'x16' but it was Nov when we poured the slab on the end of existing garage and too much fill would have been needed. Figured it would settle too much for a floating slab. Oh well, with health now it don't matter much as I have been using it very little. :(

This is from a couple years ago. Many things have been added and cabinets have been added. Plus it's getting a new remodel this weekend. Steel vault door and bars on the window too. I'll try and get some updated pics this weekend.

No kidding, no reason at all to feel that way. You can get some serious work done there.

Here's my bench. I made it mosly from 3/4 ply, it is bolted to the foundation so it is very rigid. The top is 3/4 + 1/2 ply, with a 1/2 thick aluminum plate inset into the top, and I laminated Formica to the rest of the top.It is tapped for the press mounting holes.

I have two Dillon 550's, one for small primers, and one for large primers, as well as a RCBS Rockchucker. The top is also tapped for a Ponsness-Warren 600 Progressive 12 ga loader, but I sold that, as I don't shoot as much shotgun anymore. The RCBS Chargemaster is a recent acquisition, I had been using my Niel Jones Lyman conversion for powder dispensing.

Most of the bins are filled with pistol brass, the rifle brass is all under the tabletop. The drawers are on full extension drawer slides. The drawer on the right has the hand tools, files etc for working on guns, and the lower righthand drawer has powder, and the lefthand drawer has primers and complete heads for the Dillons. Each head has it's own measure so I do not have to adjust anything when I load. You can see some heads have a red powder measure, thse are the Lee Auto Disk Pro models which are fantastic for those small pistol charges. I have 14 Dillon heads for various calibers.

Yes, there are locks on the drawers. Because of my kids (years ago) and my grandkids (now). I love them, but don't trust them not to get into something dangerous. I also lock the cabinet that all my loaded ammo is in.

The lower right hand corner is mostly lead bullets for pistols. .38, 9mm, 45, 40S&W, 45 Long Colt, 44 Mag, 44 special. For rifle, I load 223 ( 3 different heads/loads), 22-250, 6mmBR, 45 Colt, 30-06, and 7mm Mag.

Here's my humble little set up on my garage work bench. Built a raised platform for the press and powder dispenser so I can still get into the drawers underneath. Simple, but it works well and I enjoy it.

That Harbor Freight bench is a great deal. One of my reloading buddies bought one new on sale for $120 and after I saw it I ran down to Harbor Freight and purchased one for me. It is very heavy duty with a thick wood top, smooth working drawers and even comes with a wood style large vice installed. With my main reloading bench running out of room this was a welcome addition to my reloading room.

Just to show how sturdy it is, you will notice attached to the front left top of mine a barrel vice. With most everything today being Chinese junk and not worth the yellow water to pee on it, I think this Harbor Freight Woodworkers Bench is one of the best bangs for the buck I have come across in a long time.

Regards,
Thomas

I load for about 35 different cartridges, not all at the same time. Right at the moment I cant find my bench. Im making a steel base plate for my electronic scale inorderto add to the clutter.

Sheldon, I like the idea of the box stand you have your press mounted on, do you take it to the range to reload or more for height.
Also is the whiskey barrel set up to dispense in shots or glasses.
cool set up by the way
