A very pleasant experience. Called them looking for a part I lost for a 1911. Spoke to a very nice woman and explained my problem. She asked me what happened to the old part thinking maybe it broke. I said I took the pistol apart and ”BLING!!!” The garage monster ate it. We both had a good laugh over that one. “No Sweat” she said I’ll send you no charge. Three days later I had the part and a complete manual

Years ago, I purchased a Loaded 1911. I was never happy with it. It shot bad, didn’t feed great and had a terrible, gritty trigger. After it sat in my safe for years, I called Springfield Armory and told the lady about the issues and that it sat in my safe while I carried a Glock. She said “we can’t have that, send it on back.” They replaced the barrel, worked the trigger and polished up the feed ramp. It came back like a completely different gun. The trigger is great and it is fun to shoot. It was my only experience with SA customer service and it couldn’t have gone better.
