Shout out to Carlsbad -- Bolt Bushing Work

Was getting cratered primers at sub-max loads; even blanked a couple at 2 grains below book max charge. Primer shoulders still round, no marks on case head.

Sent my bolt to Carlsbad last Tuesday; he installed a bushing and turned the firing pin, and it was waiting in my mailbox in a week.

I sent him 3 bolts at one time, one with flame cutting from primer blow by and he had them done in two days time and back in the mail to me me. Stand up guy and does excellent work.

The Headspace is Not affected or changed when Jerry does a bolt bush job. - His work is second to none and his customer service is the same.

I am not sure what the + count is for Jerry and his work but add one more for me. He has bushed several for me and I always refer him anytime someone asks me about getting a bolt bushed.

I just got two bolts back from Jerry. The work is first rate, and he turned them around really fast.
Highly recommended.

On mine, it's pretty obvious that he at least polished the bolt face, if not facing it off a tad. I checked headspace on a piece of fired brass, and a single layer of scotch tape is enough to keep the bolt from closing. If it changed, it didn't change by much.
