Shout out for Graf Sons

Back in the winter I backordered 500 Sierra 90 gr BTGC from Graf for my long range hog and coyote rifle. Got an email to call them and they asked me if I still wanted them, I said yes I sure do I've got about 10 left. The lady said that they would honor the old price and thanked me for doing business with them. Got an email today saying they were on the way to me. Can't do much better than that.
I did ask her if they had any extras in this shipment to put in stock and she said every one they got was used to fill backorders. Good fokes, John

Very impressive!

Even as a new reloader as of late 2019, I've been phasing less of my purchases to MidwayUSA after a very less than desirable experience simply having a question I submitted via email about the Frankford Arsenal hand priming tool early last year, prior to the pandemic pandemonium. Instead of an answer, I got all sorts of runaround, I kept pointing out their responses never actually answered my question. That elicited "You can purchase this and if you're not satisfied, use our 100% returns!" - which ignored 100% return shipping would be funded 100% by me. When I pointed that out, I was told someone would get back with me. Five days later, I sent this email back to them informing them I really didn't appreciate MidwayUSA choosing to tell me something just to get me to stop asking my question and being blown off, and I was purchasing elsewhere going forward.

I have zero complaints about any of my interactions and purchases from Graf and Sons, and this honoring prior pricing when filling back orders just further cements me to do more business with Graf and Sons going forward!

I have no doubt that tracking and honoring back orders has put a strain on their business practices and efficiencies. Even with that they are 100 committed to their customers, a rare trait these days. Well done Grafs!!

Perhaps, but aren't we well into the age of computers and databases?

Well I sell Farley tension screws for $30 and maybe candy bars. I understand your point, but really not much at all is that cheap. Usually I make orders for a couple items at a time.
I have one of your Joysticks, and you are right . It was more than 40 bucks. LOL Tommy Mc

I shop around when looking for components. Grafs and Blue Collar Reloading uusally get my business first these days due to fair pricing and shipping. I like Midway but have raised prices on components beyond what other online retailers are charging.

I reckon the $9.95 shipping costs for (practically - exclusions apply) any size online order factors into the $40 minimum order size requirement at Graf and Sons.
Nope Order must be 40 bucks. Shipping does not count . Min order 40+ 9.95.

Yes. I think that these advances are a wonderful addition to all online ordering, especially with backorders so I don't have to maintain and watch over a list of where I ordered (backordered) what from. I don't wonder what happened to the order and I get a notification from the supplier that my backorder has been fulfilled and shipped. Personally I'm grateful to the suppliers who have invested in software to be more accommodating for me.

I haven't been concerned with minimum orders for years. With the prices escalating constantly and with the lack of product available online, my orders don't ever fall anywhere near $40 or $50 per order. Berger bullets start at $40/100 and an 8 lb. jug of powder is 6 times that miniscule amount. If I need one single screw that bad, I make one. ;):)

In my experience, they're a retail operation, i.e. they just sell stuff. If one wants answers about a product, an OEM operation is the better option, ie. a vendor that actually makes their products, e.g. 21st Century, K&M, Kelbly's, etc.
