Wondering if the correct insert for the Hornady bump gauge for .223 AI & .243 AI would be the same as for the standard calibers ?
Usually no issue but the tool with the appropriate angle cut has to be the best.Wondering if the correct insert for the Hornady bump gauge for .223 AI & .243 AI would be the same as for the standard calibers ?
I pretty much use one bushing for the most calibers I have because the number is not actually accurate what you’re doing is just comparing the numbers say from virgin brass to once fired twice fired etc. it’s the change that you note not the actual numberI usually prefer to use bullet comparator bushings on the small caliber cases, because I can pick where on the shoulder I measure to. It really does not matter so long as you use the same one every time.
