Should have ordered sooner!

Today started out pretty good. Went to the post office and picked up my action and barrels that Mike Bryant put together for me. Purddy work that fella dose ;D . Went and got a cashiers check to mail off to Hart for a couple barrels I ordered for "the next project" : . Then I got a wild hair and decided to shoot McMillan an Email to see if I could get an ETA on the stock for the rifle that just showed up. I ordered it in January. Just got an Email saying they are just now shipping December orders and January orders are not due till June/July. They are 2000 stocks behind. So if ya ordered in Dec, the Santa in Brown should be showing up pretty soon. The rest of us will just have to suffer for being procrastinators.

Keep in mind not all of procrastinators have disposable income to that amount.LOL Wish I did but I dont and bet half of us dont.That is why I buy hand me downs for half price and rework the stuff to fit.Good for you though and keep doing what your doing as we love to see all the new projects you fellas buy and shoot.I hope next year to have a proper comp rifle but we will see with the prices going up so quick.

This rifle has been in the works for well over a year. I got a Stiller action by trading a Remington 700 I won in a raffle plus a few extra C notes. The barrels I had to save up to buy from Brunos. Then wait for my yearly State PFD for the install work. It took Mike 3 months to do the work, I figured it would be a little longer. Which gave me time to save up for the stock. My timing was off with the stock arriving around the same time as the action and barrels on this one. I got real lucky with my last rig, the barreled action and stock showed up withen 2 weeks of one another. The barrels I just sent the check for was paid for with my tax return(which was shocking). I have another Stiller action on order for the barrels, which was another trade, an AR15 that I just did not like. I don't know how long it will be for the action to show up, but I think I will order the stock here next month, I won't have to pay for it for almost 6 months, plenty of time.
