T-88 or WEST System is probably the best for a job like this. Use the slow cure hardener, quicker cures will decrease strength. Let the parts sit for a couple of days after gluing. Acetone to clean, you could use a SS wire brush and / or compressed air to remove small debris, finish with acetone. Then epoxy.
If it was a clean break or joint failure, then the quality epoxy should have enough gap strength for the job. If you need fillers, check the T-88 or the WEST System web sites for what they are recommending for small gaps.
