Shotgun light, no rail to mount

I have a Mossberg 500 pump I received as my first shotgun @ 12yrs old, 1972.
I cut the barrel down 18", full stock. Loaded with Turkey load #4. (5 + 1 in the pipe)
It doesn't have rails to mount a light. I'm looking for solutions.
What do you have for lighting on home defence shotgun?

Barrel clamp on mount and the light of choice would be the easiest....

Not the easy fix but still doable, drill & tap top of receiver for a rail.

On top the light might be in the way, used a barrel clamp on mine mounted on the magazine tube, but my tube looks longer than his. Ithaca Hogslayer.

I'm thinking slug gun with a scope, forgot it's a smoothbore, but that'd work.
