Shot marker stand

Heavy steel tubing but it fits in bed of my Tacoma and one old dude can lift it. Designed to drop over 2 T posts that we leave out at our "range"

I use a piece of ply with a hole for a coreflute centre. It's sized to fit in the back of the 4x4. Gives me an 800mm x 800mm between sensors. I only use it for sighting and 300 metre practice. Two angled aluminium struts = bolted at the top, tent pegged at the bottom. Along the bottom front, and piece of 50mm x 50mm timber, with holes for pegs. The pegs are the "ground screw" typs and hold the frame well, even in a breeze.

My personal "portable" frame is really simple and pairs well with the SR-C repair center. Just a few overlapping 1x3 furring boards screwed together. The longer boards make a spot to mount the bases. Some paracord tied on makes it easy to sling over your shoulder to walk it down range. the backing is just some carboard that is easy to replace and easy to reface. There is some pipe hanger strap screwed to the back so I can just hook it over the existing target frames at our range. You can see it peeking out on the upper right. It is very light and inexpensive to make.

Here is a close up of the corner. The microphone tower has my cable management bracket around it. It helps with lose cable connectors by supporting the cable to isolate movement and cable weight. I started selling these to folks who have issues with lose cables (usually after a few years of use, or instantaneous misuse)

Hey, Brad!

I built this one to fit in my Murano SUV several years ago, have used it a lot, and it still works fine:

Good luck, my friend.
