The t shirts and underwear don’t really cut it for a consistent source of material. I have always made my own patches for around $3-5 per year supply. Use pure cotton flannel with no flame retardant.

Make your own from flannel material, or google and buy the triangle shaped one's. They work very well.

I just bought 1000 1 3/8" from Brownells about an hour ago. They have stopped carrying 1 1/4" patches, but no shortage of the others. I think they also stopped carrying round patches.
