Guys
I am planning a new rifle build, mainly for something new, and to change to other components that better suit my shooting.
I will be selling two custom rifles due to change in direction with my sport.
Now the question. I like the feel of the short range BR stocks and I am wanting to use one of these for a 600yd/1000yd rifle.
How do these short range BR stocks like the Kelby Klub handle the larger barrels, like 1.25" for 4", straight taper to 0.940" at 28".
Obviously weight will be needed in the butt to balance.
The caliber will be either 6X47L or 6mmDasher, so heavy recoil will not be an issue.
So far the rifle will be looking like this.
BAT SB or B action
Kelby Klub stock, weight added by them
Kelby trigger
Kelby polished 20MOA double rings
Lilja barrel 1:8 @ 28"
March 10-60,already ordered)
So, anybody see any issue with the handling of such a rifle with the big barrel?
All the help is appreciated, as it saves my money and hassle getting answers.
Will also be going for a freebore of 0.125" if I choose the Dasher!
