Short range BR smith

Does anyone know of a gun smith that specializes in short range stuff that has reasonable time frames for builds.

There are a couple of very nice SR rifles listed in the classifieds on this site. Prices are considerably less than a new build with no wait.

yeah,,if you can find a Bat ,Panda or Borden action in a Terry Leonard or Scoville stock and a good trigger for around 2 grand and have any of the good smiths chamber you a new bbl you would be way ahead on time and money..

The last thing I would consider was the location of my smith!! Last thing a smith needs is somebody interrupting their work. USPS and UPS go around the World. If you have all of your components, it won't take long. If not it may take a year or more with any smith. Lot of very good smiths out there, just do your homework. If you can find what you want used, buy it and rebarrel it.

I do. My best ppc shooter greg king just set a new Kelbly range record while attending the super shoot this year. Finished 2nd in the 3 gun. Pretty salty shooting. I'm tickled to death Greg allows me to chamber his barrels. Great shooter and great friend.
