short barrel brx

A friend is thinking of building a short barrelled 6mm brx (about 18") has anyone tried or had any experience of and what are your thoughts its for shooting in woodland

I haven't gone that short. (Dasher)

My last 6 Dasher has a 22" barrel, and compared to my 28-31" barrels, it loses between 17-20 FPS per inch.

Personally, I wouldn't go less than 20".........

I have a striker with 15.825" barrel that shoots very very well. Its my chuck and deer gun. 105 amax at 2700 or so. Deer to 500 and chuck to 630 so far. do it
