SHORT ACTION CUSTOMS SEATING DIE

I’ve got one I’ve been testing against my Redding. No complaints. Too be honest they’re pretty close in terms of runout and seating depth consistency, with the SAC being better by a slim margin. But, if you take both the seating stems out, the SAC stem contacts the bullet lower near the ogive and holds the bullet more securely than the Redding (using a .30cal 155), and for that reason I’m sticking with it. And I can seat almost any round with it.

The SAC die is great. I’ve found it to be more consistent when seating and the micrometer adjustments are more accurate. I use a dummy round for each cartridge to make setting it easier when switching cartridges.
