Shooting Tightneck brass in No turn Chamber

OK Here for answers from the People in the KNOW, Primarily a Varmint hunter who shoots recreational Target. My 1st 6BR shoots great & has a .265 necked chamber, I wanted a 2nd 6BR so got the 2nd project going, the smith is AWESOME, on schedule & the work is better than I expected. I received the gun & OH NO .272 nk is stamped on the barrel . I called the smith & it was miscommunication on my part, he said ship it back collect he would rebarrel & ship FREE. No I really want to shoot it so bad. Meanwhile I have 500 Lapua cases neck turned, prepped & ready. So are there issues shooting the brass which is measuring .262 at the neck loaded in a .272 chamber? I am sure it will expand to fit the chamber & neck & I can't shoot it in my tightnecked 6 BR. Suggestions , comments Thanks Everyone

I think you will have a lot of neck splits on the .262 brass fired in the .272 chamber neck. You may get a couple of firings before the brass is useless. JMHO

I's say your best option would be to just order 500 pieces of new brass for the new no turn chamber and use the prepped ones for the other .265 chamber.

You'll be buying new brass right away, anyway, shooting them in the .272 chamber......

YEah, the brass will be chewed up in a hurry with .010 clearance, heck that's like a factory cut chamber...why don't you just some non-turned brass..the .272 sounds like a no-turn chamber reamer or darn close to it..it would save you lots of work and who knows it may shoot better than you think....001 clearance the brass will last forever... I've been shooting the same 6PPC brass for 10 years! It has less than .001 total clearance and hardly moves at all..

Thanks for all the advice. Ordered some New Lapua 6BR , anyone need some New Unfired Lapua 6BR brass turned to fit .265 chamber, loaded rounds measure .263, I have 300 cases for sale $100 or best offer Thanks Dee
