Shooting ranges shut down in Maryland

Looks like the LEO match I wanted to go to in South Texas might be cancelled. Don't know if our local range will also be closed and I won't get my LEOSA renewed.

Just found out the clubhouse is shut down at the Ft Bliss Rod and Gun Club but ranges are open but only 10 per range.

Yesterday I visited my Gun Smith, Bob Green to pick up my 6 PPC. Bob fixed my trigger and put on a barrel tuner. As usual he took the time to answer my questions and offer his advice.

I was all set to go to the range today and run some tests. As I do not have a private range I can join near me, I am forced to go to the state and county public ranges. I was somewhat concerned, that the range would be closed, I did some checking and found that sure enough, all ranges in the public sector are closed.

Damn, my main source of entertainment is now not available to me. I can't even reload for this rifle as I must find out if what I already have prepared works.

Why do I feel so down in the dumps over this? Alas, I will be forced to visit that big room, in the front of the house and see what that strange woman watches on TV. I wonder what language she speaks.
Hi Nick my name is Charles i live in middle river our club has openings every year its in the Carney area it has a 100 and 200 yard range if you may be interested in joining i will see if they have done there drawings yet this year. the name of the club is Baltimore County Fish and Game.

I have been trying to get my foot in that door for two years. I live near White Marsh. Only 12 minutes from my door to that club. I will PM you.

Hey Nick! Back yard? How 'bout the Aberdeen proving grounds? With your creds, they might let you in? Aren't there any Police ranges around? Being a retired LEO should open some doors for you!
The friendly farmer idea might work!
I feel your pain. Sorry you have a new gun and nowhere to shoot!:(

While living in western Maryland, I found 2 nice ranges in WV: Peacemaker National Training Center, below Martinsburg, and Whitehorse Range, below Clarksburg. Not sure if they're open now tho.

Driving through San Antonio I noticed the gentlemen's clubs were closed! How are those poor girls going to pay for their medical and law school tuition without tip money? Anywho gonna stop at an Academy to to see the bare ammo and gun shelves.

Take pictures so people can hang them on thier walls as a reminder.

I received an email during the week stating that the LGC in central FL was closed due to the virus. Days later, this weekend, I got another announcing that it was going to reopen tomorrow. All events are cancelled and they are asking for those members that feel sick to stay away, the rest of the members are asked to observe social distancing good practice.

Was happy to hear they were going to reopen. Growing tiered of the hysteria.

I sent you a PM last week. Did you get it? If you changed your mind, I will understand.
Nick

Our club was/is very accomodating to bringing guests but with the virus it banned them until further notice.

President Trump just declared gunshops and ranges as 'essential businesses'. PNTC in West Virginia just reopened yesterday. I fully expect the liberal governor contingent to try to countermand this, or try to 'trump' it.
