Shooting Ranges Near Whitefish, MT

I will be on a family reunion near Whitefish, MT during the 3rd week of August......all week with the in-laws ;D .

Are there any public shooting ranges in the area? Just wouldn't mind getting out to 200 yards minimum.....1000 would be better.

You can shoot up to 300 yards. Used to have a 1K range there but it got shut down years ago for liability reasons. Now the closest "official" 1K range is in Missoula, MT. Of course those of us who live around there know of some low key hideaways in the mountains where we can shoot long range, but those are our little secrets. ;D Have fun.

We shoot from 675 to 1260 yds each Wednesday at the Great Falls Shooting Sports Complex . We start at 1800 and shoot until dark. You are welcome to join us.

Primitive conditions. Gravel area, that's it. No shade, no benches. We bring a mat or a portable bench.

I would gladly sponsor you on a Wednesday if you were to drive over.
