Shooting Moly bullets

has anyone ever shot moly then go back to jacket bullets and accuracy goes bad, I am sure if that is what happen or if i have another problem

Your MV will be lower with bare bullets, because there is more friction. Try reducing your load by 1/2 or a full grain.

Should be the other way around.

More friction, more pressure, more velocity.

You need to re-do load work for the bare bullets.

right now im scrubbing, scrubing and more scrubing, i was going to match few wks ago brought some bullets un open when i opened them they were moly well i had to shoot them 100 rounds, some guys who shot moly said you can go the whole match with out cleaning , well 100 way to much, this stuff is deep in the bore, been scrubbing for hours.

I went from 1/4 moa to just under 1 thats bad

I would use some kroil and let it do its magic. Lots of patches will help also. Then when you are done you may need to adjust your load.

Whats HBN?

After hours of scrubbing with kroil and JB and some Iosso I got it shooting .3 moa at 200 yards it was shooting .2 so we will be working with it tommorow a little fine tuneing it will be good as before , I think your right you can never get it all out, Thanks for all your input.
