shooting light bullets

given a 1/8 twist barrel in 6 mm can you have 75 to 85 grain bullets shoot good out of it. say gun soots .125 at 100 yds. and shoots light bullets to .300 at same yardage.

yes you can shoot both light and heavy. The accuracy with both will depend on the rifle. Some get the same accuracy with both light and heavy. The quality of the bullet will have a lot to do with accuracy. You can somtimes shoot a very light bullet so fast that they will blow up in flight from the spin rate of the fast twist barrel.

Yepeer !

In my 29" 1-8 Broughton "5-C" rilfed barrel, Sierra 85BTHPs shoot just as well as 95Mks,
Berger 105s ; etc. I was able to find loads for all 6mm bullet wt's 85 -105 that shot very well
( 6mm wildcat ). I was pleased to find that level of flexibility, as regards useable bullet weight span.
