We tried shooting dragonflies over a pond with a Freon powered full auto BB pistol. Difficult but fun.

Use to take my 22 pistol and shoot at dragonflies over a pond also, but in full flight. Hits were seldom, maybe one per box of ammo if a good day, multiple boxes if not. Them suckers were FAST!!!

Had a couple of cicadas on my targets this past week. I let ‘em walk…. Didn’t seen sporting as big as they are.

I wish the horseflies we have around here would land on the targets. but they never do.

They are about the size of a hornet and when they bite you, They take a chunk of skin off you! They are Fair game by all the shooters by any means possible. I have gotten a couple with my Bug-A-Salt!
