Over the holidays, I wrote some shooting calculators and utilities and rolled them up in a site.

I used this to help a friend get ballistics tables for a couple of hunting rifles he was taking on an Elk hunt to Montana. This was back when it was a prototype. He's enhanced the algorithm since then. The data it provides seems to be very close to the other ballistics calculators I've used and maybe even a bit more accurate. It also provides the ability to teach friends the art of ballistics in a web interface that I can explain to them what the elements of the app are and how they are used. I've used it for my comp guns and will use it in the up coming F Class season.

How are the Android/iPhone apps going?

Feedback:
Need the might 6.5 Creedmoor and other calibers in the shell cross reference.
Need the ability to save multiple rifles.

Working on the ability to save rifle/profiles, that’s the last thing remaining on the apps.

I'm going to be publishing iOS and Android apps soon. Just finishing up some last changes on those.

Of course. You can turn off the ‘Using bullet database’ switch and enter manually.

I just entered my information on my 6.5CM. The drop chart is pretty much spot on with the Ballistic Program I used making up my Log Book Drop Chart.

Both apps are done. Android app is undergoing internal testing and once done will be released on the play store. For iOS, I'm still going through Apple developer account hoops.

I used it this weekend. Aside from my velocity being 80 fps higher than I had entered into the calculator and the elevation being set to 0, my first sighter at 500 yards was about 1/2 moa high. Easily account for with incorrect settings for velocity, altitude and temp being punched into the calculator.

It's a keeper, I'll be using it going forward.

Apple finally approved my dev account changes so I'm ready to submit the iOS app.

I've been wondering about making an app for Apple watch so you would have your dope/windage calculations on your wrist.
