Shooters Poll -- Sling and F-Class

The 2010 Spirit of America Championship in Raton, NM was my first NRA registered F-Class match, I competed in the F-Open category. I have only competed F-Class as F-Open but occasionally I think about trying F/TR. I've thought about trying LR sling.

I would like to compete in NRA Conventional Pistol, Bullseye. We have a 20 station covered Bullseye pit with rotating targets at 25 yards and fixed targets at 50 yards, at the local range (5 minutes away) but it seems like nobody wants to shoot Bullseye anymore. I think there are Bullseye matches once a year at the Whittington Center, I should go there and compete.

I shoot in our local ATA trap league, but I have never attended an official trap competition.

Nothing compares to waiting a minute (or more) shooting a Palma match's 1,000 yard stage, watching the wind flags and the mirage... then seeing conditions like what you believe is worth the chance what you have on your sights is what you need, getting the sight picture you know is right, squeezing the trigger... then seeing your target come up with an X.
