Shooter's Mat for Someone Getting Started In Mid-Range Competitions??

Most seasoned shooters will tell you to buy one that does not have a dark surface you end up lying on - those tends to heat up to scorching temps in the summer....

Get the extra padding for $10.00 more. My old body tells me it was worth it too, every time I shoot prone in XC matches almost every weekend through out the summer. Get a light color on the top and dark on the bottom.
JMO...For what ever thats worth....
