Shipping to USA from Germany

USPS can't even handle inter-state shipment these days. Better try a private carrier company.

Update: "Houston, Tranquility Base here ... the Eagle has landed."

The package arrived 10 weeks after notification of shipment. USPS informed me it "arrived" in NJ after 9 weeks. I reckon it was either on a boat, or sitting in a NJ warehouse, for two months.

Back in the day.. ( we're talking 90s ) I worked at a place that was constantly shipping to offices internationally. DHL was *always* faster than the rest.. UPS, Fed-X, etc.

I think they've done a better job dealing with Customs (etc) in each country they serve. I wouldn't use anything else if I had the choice.

I don't have more recent experience, however. Caveat emptor.
