Shipping prices

Just ordered from Midway. I was stunned. Only $3.99 for shipping? I had priced the same items at another vender and the shipping was $8. I guess they really did listen to us and revamped their shipping process.

I had quite the opposite experience with them last week.
I put 1 box of 6.5mm bullets in my cart, checked the shipping and it was something over $8.00.
I have bought four boxes from Midsouth Shooters Supply several times and they sent them in a USPS flat rate box for $5.80.

Yes, they revamped their shipping prices. They lowered shipping prices and raised their prices on the stuff they sell!

Ya' have proof of your comment… highlighted above ? I don't doubt you, since I expect Larry to do something like that.

Advertising is a deductible business cost, so the "gun shows on TV" he/they sponsor don't cost him/them vis-a-vis the company's bottom line.

He/they are in business to make money… and he does it anyway he can.

Of course, Larry is still a "NOODGE."

Most times you can save anywhere from $10 to $30 depending on the amount spent, and it'll cover most of your shipping charges.

I don't know how I'd go about "prooving" that, but I have noticed price increases on a lot of stuff that occured about the same time as shipping charges were 'reduced'. He can't ship for free! And the cost of shipping that UPS/FedEX/USPS charges has certainly increased. He's got to cover that "cost" somewhere!
