Right. I use 'metal parts' or 'machined parts' when I ship USPS.

(Curious abt your signature; you shoot 185's in an AR-15?)

I assume the 185's are coming out of an AR10 - sort of like an ar15.

And not all UPS locations will ship loaded ammunition even with the proper labeling many are owned independently and make their own rules in my area I must drive 35 miles to a UPS customer service center

"UPS Stores" are not part of UPS; they are independently owned and operated entities that happen to have agreements with UPS. They do not have a requirement to abide by UPS's shipping policies, and can (and do) apply restrictions at their whim.
