A rifle is not the only thing that will not fit in a PO Box. They will put a note in your box and you can pick up your package. A gunsmith without a FFL is illegal.I found some additional information in this thread https://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=548877
At least in that thread, there's a distinction between USPS allowing shipment to PO Boxes vs UPS, FedEx, etc.
Are you saying a gunsmith that has an FFL can return my rifle to me at a PO Box address?A rifle is not the only thing that will not fit in a PO Box. They will put a note in your box and you can pick up your package. A gunsmith without a FFL is illegal.
The gun is not getting transferred, or changing ownership. Are you saying a gunsmith that has an FFL can return my rifle to me at a PO Box address?
Yes sir in my experience. Are you saying a gunsmith that has an FFL can return my rifle to me at a PO Box address?
Address the return to you 911 street address.I have a PO Box address.
Can I mail a rifle to a gunsmith to be repaired using that address and have it returned to that PO Box address?
Still do.Ask the post master at your post office when you go get your mail.
Many years ago I had a post office box. I received many packages. They would place a notice in the box and I would go to the counter to get it. I don’t know why that would work for a box with a rifle in it.
