Terry we shoot 100-200&320 yards in the short range match and 540 and 800 in the long range match.

No Sir... some of the more seasoned shooters did not like it because they could not see that far. That is why it is broken up into two matches, 100-200-320 and then 540-800

I’ve never done any kind of competitive shoot before. The 100-200-320 might be perfect for my Sako 6PPC.

ETA: my rifle is a Sako AI in 6PPC-USA. Factory everything, including barrel and chamber. Am I limited then to Light Custom or Heavy Custom because it’s a type of 6PPC?

Unfortunately yes you are David. The PPC and BR factory chambers are not allowed in the Factory classes.
