Shilen triggers

Hi Guys,
I shoot F-Open and I'm starting to build a new rifle. I have had Kelbly's, Jewell's and Bix n Andy triggers. My favorite was Jewell but that is no longer an option. I am wondering if anyone here has used the Shilen trigger with a Bat M action.

Any info would be appreciated

I have used Shilen triggers for my FTR guns and hunting rifles. My personal opinion is that they are a great trigger right up there or better than a Jewell. They are probably the most underrated trigger out there.

I took second at the 2021 F-Class Long Range Nationals using a Shilen trigger along with some great accomplishments at other matches throughout the years. They are very reliable and I can't think of a time I have had an issue with them.

Just my 2 cents, but it is probably not worth that.

Another great thing about Shilen is that they are a family owned company and have great customer service.

I have a Shilen in an FTR Rifle. Could not be happier with it.

The F-Open shooter I got if from had Replaced it with a Bix & Andy.

I have never owned a Bix & Andy but I believe either one to be a good choice.

I have had two. The one was 2 oz out of the box. The one I have now broke 2.2 Oz. five time in a row. I an not messing with that. I shoot in very dusty conditions also.

I have a shilen on my Kauger BRIII long range benchrest rifle and love it. Has give me zero issues in just over 2000 rounds. Im no trigger shnaub but i dont notice much of a difference from the jewel i have used in the past. I bought another shilen recently actually.

I have a Shilen Trigger on a kauger BR II Bench Rest Rifle and could not be more pleased with it.

I've got a couple shilen, to me they're 98% of a good jewell and on par with an average one. I have gone to a Sidhe for my new F/open gun and love it.

I’m currently running 2 shilens….one on a Mack bros EVO2 30BR and one on a newly finished Kauger BR3 6ppc been very happy so far.

I run a Shilen on my HG and a jewel on my LG have had zero issues with either one, I won’t hesitate to buy another Shilen in the future when needed

Sounds like we have a great option for replacing our no longer available Jewell triggers. Will definitely consider one on my next rifle build. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Thanks Guys, for all the input. Matthew's opinion convinced me to take a leap of faith, but your input seals the deal. At half the price of a Bix n Andy I believe this is a chance worth taking.

My Kelby Golden Bear has a Shilen that came from the factory at 2.4 oz and that is where it has stayed.
