SELLING Shilen built sleeved Remington 722 - price drop

this is a complete Shilen built gun from back in the day. all machined work done at Shilen. has a shilen made "RayGun" laminate stock with very few marks or dings for a gun this age. polished Davidson sleeve, shilen 1.5 oz trigger, shilen 1-15 tw 23" lv barrel. unknown round count, but looks clean and crisp. gentleman said he had not shot in several years. i have had it 12-15 years and only loaded a handful of rounds to see if it would shoot and function. did not have anything under 52 grain to shoot, but it looked like it might shoot with minimal work and some lighter bullets-really needs something in the 48-50gr range. comes with a tasco "Japan" TS 24X44 scope that has very clear glass. 175 rounds of r-p brass and a set of rcbs loading dies. this is a great old style gun, just don't have the time to devote to it. fit and finish on this gun is superb. someone will enjoy this as a sweet shooter- almost zero recoil, gun weighs 12lb 3oz - 1325.00 shipped contus

Very cool gun with a lot going for it...not the least of which is that it's a bolt in rather than a glue in.

It will shoot every bit as good as it did 'in the day'. And likely better with some newer powders. -Al

FWIW- That's a Shilen "Raygun" stock. I won UBR SSOY Modified Class and 4-Gun twice with one of these chambered in 6 Beggs. Still have it.
