SELLING Shilen BPS action pistol 308 by J B Dever- price drop

This is #026 in 308 . Smithed by Dever who built on the previous 25 BPS actions for an IHMSA promotion . I was told by the previous seller it was Ed Shilens gun . I tried to verify this but was unable to get info on this. However it is a real sweet heart of an action . Very smooth and slick. I believe it was sold as a bednchrest quality action. I was also told by someone on benchrest central some time back that Shilen made less than 200 of these actions , I dont know for sure. No safety and a shilen trigger with a trigger shoe.I'm assuming the barrel would be Shilen. I have more pics if you are interested. I also have a 2 piece scope base. Thanks for looking. Bruce

twist with cleaning rod method looks to be 12 twist
some fire cracking for about an inch then the bore looks good.I only shot maybe 100 rounds through it . Its been in my possession about 10 years . It shot well the little bit I shot it. A little too much oomph for my old hands

The Shilen action ...DGA ( Damn good action) was very well built. ) I thought they were printed on action as DGA..then serial number? Yes-No ?
