Shilen BP Action - firing pins?

Anyone out there have a Shilen Action ( BP or other) and have info on light firing pin strikes? they have a set screw where you would normally expect to see a pin in place at the shroud. i am worried that Shilen does not make any parts to support their actions and there does not seem to be much info out there.
I guess i can make a new pin and / or modify one from another action. Theirs is very similar to the Rem 700.

Shilen BP? The old Shilens are over 25 years old. If one of those you need to find out the real reason for your problem. The new receivers are the DGV and DGR. Do you not have enough firing pin protrusion? Do you know why you are getting "light" strikes?

No I don't know yet. I am making small adjustments and trying it. I thoroughly cleaned inside the bolt and polished on the firing pin and spring stop to make sure they don't drag

I have an email inquiry to Wade Hull and will hope to know something later today

Doubt he can help you if you don't know more than you have posted. Measure your firing pin protrusion and check your firing pin spring tension in pounds. On a 25+ year receiver a good gunsmith needs it in his hands.
