Shilen barrels these days?

I won a certificate for 50% off any Shilen barrel straight from Shilen. I have a couple Bartlein barrels and really like them. I also had good luck with Hart. I never owned a Shilen.

How are they for 1K BR work? Will be chambered in 6 Dasher.

I got a quote for a 6mm select match ss in 8 twist HV contour; $358 plus shipping. This seems a bit high to me, but it if they shoot...it does not matter. Plus with 50% off, hard to beat a new barrel for under $200.

Is this chambered? Sounds a little high for a blank, but like you said you do get 50% off. Oh yes and they do shoot quite well out to 1000.

No...that is direct from Shilen for a contoured blank.
