I suffer fools poorly.
Bought a really unique scope this afternoon and wondered if any of you can give me a value on it? Horse is out of the barn so if I paid too much it's no big deal, just wanted it because of the obvious quality. It is a 3X9 with an inverted duplex, that is to say that it is like a standard duplex but the bottom leg is missing. In place of the bottom leg of the duplex there is a movable for windage and elevatiuon grid of circles. It begins with a TINY circle then as it progresses downward there is a line marked MRT then the circles begin getting progressively larger as they go down. There are circles numbered 4 thru 10. At the very bottom of the scope in the 6 o'clock position in the reticule there is a "C" that has a circle around it and just under that there is a Roman numeral V and just to the right of that there is an E
Mystifies me why the whole circle grid is movable. Perhaps you can enlighten me and give me an idea of the value of this piece. Many thanx... Gary
