Shehane ST-1000 rear bag?

What rear bag works the best with the ST-1000? Ear spacing? Flat or tapered top?

I circled it in my Sinclair catalog. The Edgewood Mini Gater was mentioned in a thread I read on here while doing an info search on Shehane Tracker ST-1000 stocks. I have no experience with it, as I have my Tracker 1000 on order, and have not ordered the Mini Gator yet. I'm sure someone with experience will chime in.

I use an Edgewood Minigater with the "Shehane" stitch, fill the bag full and leave the ears a little loose for compliance. It tracks beautifully. Attached images show my Viper SS/ST-1000 on the bag and proof of tracking.

I bought a protektor DR bag. Its big but it works really well for the shehane stock. Lee

I think the minigater will probably work better than what I'm using now. Thinking about upgrading. How ever my MBR Tracker does slide well in my Protektor I'm thinking of upgrading to the minigater. See pics below.

The Protektor DR would probably work, too. I like the Minigater's flat bottom and extra length. The length eliminates almost all "rocking" tendency and allows very flat tracking.

Anyone have a picture of the bag Shehane sells for the tracker? The thing I don't care for with the Edgewood bag is the small leather donut seems to taper upward allowing the bag to rock and not sit flat. I have a 2 stitch Dr bag that has a tapered top for my short-range stock. I really like it.

Now for the st-1000...I was thinking of a custom flat top Dr bag with .700" or .750 ear spacing. The standard 3 stitch spacing on the standard Dr may be a tad bit too close for the st-1000. Anyone have a pic of the tracker in a 3 stitch Dr bag? Skeet...is the top of your Dr bag flat or tapered?
