Krg bravo rear bag

Going through trials and tribulations to get my rifle set up for a bench. A protector rear bag has been meantioned a few times and was wondering what bag or ear spacing would work well with the bravo stock. A 13b with the tracker ear spacing is what I’m thinking. Anybody care to say what works for them ? Thanks

My stock bottom measures 1” then gradually get wider going up towards the cheek piece. I have a .700 ear space bag and it sits on the ears high enough I can put my index finger between the stock and the stitching

You want the stock to ride the stitches ..right now you have a ton of movement up and down
on the back of your rifle. Your going to have vertical issues like mad at long distance.
You need 1 inch between the ears.

Thank you Storm, seems to be the case. I’m hoping others will reach out with their equipment because I’m surely not the only guy shooting this stock

I have a KRG Bravo and had the same issue as you. I made a so called " sausage" bag from an old seat belt.
The material is quite slick but durable. The wife sewed the edge together and one end closed, I added sand and then she hand stitched the other end shut. No way she would let sand anywhere near her machine!
I have had no issues with the elevation change from the stock settling like before.

I sawed a piece of pine to raise my Bravo in the bag, sizing it to achieve an elevation where the ears lightly pinch the stock. Not sure if this would be allowed in competition(?) but it seems to work very well for me. At 527yds had a 3-shot 0.35” group July 18th.

Thanks. Getting info and ideas is what I’m after. Do you have the krg bag rider attached to your bravo ?

SEB Bigfoot. I ordered one of mine to fit the Bravo. The ear spacing is 3/4 of an inch. Measure the base of your butt stock to make sure it has not changed and order accordingly.

I'm using a Edgewood rear bag, and also sometimes a Prtektor rear bag, with my KRG bravo with rem action Jewell trigger, and GreTan FP it didn't start shooting small until the FP change, 260rem atlas bipod...I was thinking I was never going to learn to use the bipod to shoot small groups, but FP change and pixy dust had a couple groups in the low ones, with 139 scenars and n555 ruag primers peterson brass

I just got to find the right setup and learn it. This rifle obviously will shoot
