Shehane and N560?

Hello guys. A simple question. I am with my shehane working with the N160 below 58 grains and 2930 feet, but already at the limit, although the bolt rises smoothly and I wonder if anyone has experience with the N560, you get more speed and less pressure. Because I only have 28 "barrel ...
Thank you

I'm no expert with the Shehane but I can share with you, once I stopped chasing speed... I cured accuracy, bolt lift, destroying brass, and being in and out of tune all the time. Lower nodes are much wider, easier to stay in the sweet spot, barrels and brass last longer. so I keep slow!

I’m with Johnny on this. Lower nodes are wider typically and your barrel life will be better. 2930fps in the rebated .284 Win case, even with the reduced body taper of a Shehane, will shorten your brass life. The double based N560 will also shorten barrel life and increase temperature sensitivity. That all said, if this is a hunting rifle the above detriments would be of little concern for me so 560 would be worth a look. If for F-class I would stick with 160.

x3. If you want speed in a 7mm, build a SAUM or an improved version. I'm shooting the Shehane at a very comfortable 2840fps with Berger 184s...buggerall pressure, bolt lift is easy, accuracy is very good, holds 1/4 moa vertical at 800 metres, brass is 9 times fired and primer pockets are tight. And this is exactly what I was after.
