Shayne's Labor Day Egg Bust

Shayne took a few sighters on steel and then knocked out 2 eggs with 3 shots at 800 yards.
Eggs were blocked from shrapnel by the steel I-beam. Sighters were inside I-Beam and the eggs were hanging outside the I-beam.

The 2 shot group on the gong over my right shoulder wasn't to bad for the windy day

That's some fine shooting !! And a good group on both targets.. Looks like there is a few more things to hammer @ 800yds.

You need to come down to Memphis, the Oct.1 Match and shoot 600yds.. you be in my class (HG).

Next trip to the Dome, I was testing the 110 SMK. I hit two 800 yard eggs. The next trip I took four shots and vaporized the egg with Tim Hewitt and Desiree Steva watching through their scopes.
Yesterday I wanted to try them at extended range. Here is what happened. Junebug showed off again.

Junebug and I were going to shoot 1400 this afternoon. Junebug was testing his new 338 Improved and I was checking the new 110 SMK at elr. We got set up and one of JR's damn cows walked directly in front of the 18 inch plate. Bug said how bout 1000 and it was clear. I dialed up 23 moa and first shot on a sun baked, white cow patty was inches short, Windsge perfect. About five shots and the 110 smk took out a corner of the patty.
I told Bug to try my rifle. He touched the first shot off and the cow patty disappeared.
Maybe next time out I can try them at 1400.
