Setback Question

I recently had my barrel setback. Will this barrel speed up similar to a new barrel after about 100 rounds?

Never had one setback before.

Thanks everyone.

I believe the speeding up happens from the bullet smoothing out the lapped surface. You can see the change early on with a bore scope. You should not see it from a rechamber.
Exactly. I have had many barrels set back and rechambered, and no, you don't get the speed up which brand new barrels get.

My experience has shown that there is less velocity due to the shorter barrel, but you do not see any increase of velocity as the barrel "wears in", as it has already worn in.
