My first season using this new Shilen 6mmBRX barrel...I have just over 1000 rds down the tube & the 104 freebore has advanced another 70 thou...Barrel still shoots well, looks decent in my bore-scope, it was a 1/4 moa shooter at start of this season on 100yd paper targets & I'm hitting the steels at 1K yds better than ever...I have a couple of gunsmith buddies I shoot with..They use the 6.5 X 284 & set-back & re-chamber every 8 to 900 shots...Is it worth it to me..[having to buy a reamer & pay to get the work done] to have these guys set back & re-chamber my barrel ??..I only paid 380.00 plus shipping for this barrel..But the idea intrigues me...If this plan works I'm going to order another Shilen pre-fit 6mmBRX to use next season..Your thoughts gentlemen??
