" Serious" 22rf 1911 ?

Im looking for a high end 1911 platform in 22rf.

Ive got a Vudoo - Frerking single stack 1911 (pic'd) Its a great shooter but the action is kinda wonky... getting hard for my hands to cycle. Mines on a Springfield Operator 9mm frame. Great trigger.

I'd like to find a more standard 1911 platform shooting 22rf. Double stack if possible. With a lower red dot mount.

I have a Nelson .22RF slide on a 1911 frame. I tried all the usual culprits and was unsatisfied until I mounted the Nelson. Mine is single stack and in my opinion, think it's the best of the bunch. As an aside, I was initially having some feed issues. I called Nelson, they suggested sending the lower and upper to them to de-bug and tune. Turns out the issues were related to the lower (it had formerly carried a .38 WC upper), which they fixed and tuned to the upper for the cost of the needed parts, no labor. From sending it off to having it back was less than two weeks. To me, that defines customer service!

I’ll have to second the Nelson .22 Upper. Works great, and surprisingly accurate. Not as good as my 41 or Victor…but oh so close!
